Rajneesh was born Chandra Mohan Jain on 11th December 1931 and also known as Acharya Rajneesh, later known as Osho His teachings have had in vast impact on the western world. His teaching concept includes killing your ego to awaken the enlightenment. He has written many books on Spiritual elements and has given many lectures and seminars on meaning of life or a purpose of life in Spiritual context.

Osho describes Life is in living. It is not a thing, it is a process. There is no way to attain life except by living it, except by being alive. Life is not somewhere happening for you, it is happening in you. He further says there is no purpose in life, Life is its purpose. There is no such thing as meaning of life or purpose of life which is gifted when we are born, we create it and give importance to it.

One has to drop the goal-oriented mind to be enlightened. Enlightenment is not a search it is a realization. If you think you are here for any purpose and any barriers are stopping you, then I say drop those barriers, and be here. Life is in this moment. Life has no purpose that’s why it is so beautiful, Hindus (Indian Culture) called it Leela- a play, and the moment you are ready to play you are enlightened. You are already that which you are trying to be the more you try the more you will miss.

Samadhi, Reincarnation, Enlightenment, Meditation words are nonsense because if you believe any process, they again open a door of desire to attain something.

Searching for meaning of life or a purpose of life is a life journey to be explored and enjoyed, it’s not a destination or goal to be reached and achieved.

Life is a purposeless play of infinite forces, beautiful if you don’t have an achiever’s mind. Don’t try to do something, to be something, to become life is a purposeless play of infinite forces beautiful if you don’t have an achiever’s mind. Don’t try to do something, to be something, to become something in such a process you will miss the life. Drop the future, just be still here, this moment is eternity. The purpose of life is to play, laugh, love and leave this place with better environment.

Finding the meaning of life or a Purpose of life is like a spider bed you will never reach the satisfied destination.

Osho

Osho

“Truth is not something outside to be discovered, it is something inside to be realized.”

Osho

“Life begins where fear ends.”

Osho

“Truth is not something outside to be discovered, it is something inside to be realized.”

Osho

“My meditation is simple. It does not require any complex practices. It is simple. It is singing. It is dancing. It is sitting silently”

Osho

“Truth is not to be found outside. No teacher, no scripture can give it to you. It is inside you and if you wish to attain it, seek your own company. Be with yourself. ”

Osho

“The real question is not whether life exists after death. The real question is whether you are alive before death.”

Osho

“Listen to your being. It is continuously giving you hints; it is a still, small voice. It does not shout at you that is true. And if you are a little silent you will start feeling your way. Be the person you are. Never try to be another, and you will become mature. Maturity is accepting the responsibility of being oneself, whatsoever the cost. Risking all to be oneself, that’s what maturity is all about.”

Osho

“You feel good, you feel bad, and these feelings are bubbling from your own unconsciousness, from your own past. Nobody is responsible except you. Nobody can make you angry, and nobody can make you happy.”

Osho

“Intelligence is dangerous. Intelligence means you will start thinking on your own; you will start looking around on your own. You will not believe in the scriptures; you will believe only in your own experience.”

Osho

This Quotes explains how the intelligence can kill our innocence to know the truth. Intelligence is our ego, our mind.

“My meditation is simple. It does not require any complex practices. It is simple. It is singing. It is dancing. It is sitting silently”

Osho

This Quotes explains the importance of Meditation and how it is the only tool or technique which is helpful in discovering meaning of life.

“Many people have come and left, and it has been always good because they emptied some space for better people. It is a strange experience, that those who have left me have always left places for a better quality of people. I have never been a loser”

Osho

“Nobody can say anything about you. Whatsoever people say is about themselves. But you become very shaky, because you are still clinging to a false center. That false center depends on others, so you are always looking to what people are saying about you. And you are always following other people, you are always trying to satisfy them. You are always trying to be respectable, you are always trying to decorate your ego. This is suicidal. Rather than being disturbed by what others say, you should start looking inside yourself…”

Osho
  • Whenever you are self-conscious you are simply showing that you are not conscious of the self at all. You don’t know who you are. If you had known, then there would have been no problem— then you are not seeking opinions. Then you are not worried what others say about you— it is irrelevant!

When you are self-conscious you are in trouble. When you are self-conscious you are really showing symptoms that you don’t know who you are. Your very self-consciousness indicates that you have not come home yet.
  • You are already that which you are seeking.
