According to Sam, the meaning of life is to be human without any fear. We should be practical and know that we are not immortal here, so stop biding the rituals that have been given to us by our ancestors.

We have to be honest and kind to everyone in life. The meaning should be created by helping others. We are always living in the past and future, we don’t realize that it’s just an illusion, not a real thing, factual is the present moment, and we got to define the present moment by living it fully. We can only create meaning in our life by living in the present moment. Be helpful, kind, and compassionate to everyone you meet, and stop asking for love rather start sharing the love.

We have to be aware of our life and raise our consciousness level. Once you are conscious about your life, you will find meaning in each moment. Being Conscious should be the goal of life.

“We have a choice. We have two options as human beings. We have a choice between conversation and war. That’s it. Conversation and violence. And faith is a conversation stopper.”

“Consider it: every person you have ever met, every person will suffer the loss of his friends and family. All are going to lose everything they love in this world. Why would one want to be anything but kind to them in the meantime?”

Practicing constant Meditation will help you to discover the meaning of your life. Although there is no specific or right answer to it, it’s just that one will become aware of his thoughts and action of the present moment. You become happy in the present moment.

“You are not controlling the storm, and you are not lost in it. You are the storm.”

About – Any question comes to mind because we are fantasying about the past and future. If we are conscious of the present moment, then no question arises in our thoughts.

“Religious moderation is the product of secular knowledge and scriptural ignorance.”

Sam Harris
About – Sam describes his views on religion and God. According to him, religions scare people to live in the present moment. Religious scholars always have result-oriented rituals and it’s never consciously acted.

“The moral truth here is obvious: anyone who feels that the interests of a blastocyst just might supersede the interests of a child with a spinal cord injury has had his moral sense blinded by religious metaphysics.”
